Greg Frank
Greg is the Managing General Partner of Ovation Capital. He developed the mathematical algorithms and software that drive our quantitative investment strategies, as well as our initial trading and risk control methodologies.
Prior to founding Ovation Capital in 1999, Greg held senior positions at Microsoft Corp. in Redmond, WA, and at Murray & Roberts, where he was responsible for principal transactions. At Ovation, Greg led many of our venture capital investments in software companies. He has served as a director on numerous company boards, and is currently chairman of Connectiva Systems, a company providing revenue assurance solutions for telecommunications carriers.
Greg has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Electronic Engineering conferred with first class honors from the University of Cape Town. He is an avid chef, a recreational glider pilot, and enjoys rock climbing and marathon running. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Lauren and son Luke.
